Deana brings nearly 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical strategic consultancy, specializing in commercial strategy and market research. She began her career in primary market research and has since developed deep expertise in crafting customer-driven, future-focused strategies that drive meaningful impact on customer decision-making. Deana leverages her foundation in primary research to ensure that all strategic materials are grounded in the needs and priorities of healthcare providers and patients.
Her extensive experience spans early and late-stage brand planning, pre-launch positioning, commercial narratives, competitor strategies, and future-focused scenario assessments. Prior to joining Align Strategy, Deana was with Strategic North (now Prescient), focusing on commercial strategy and market research.
Deana holds an MSc in Biotechnology and Enterprise from the University of Manchester, as well as a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds. Outside of work, she enjoys dance and fitness, participating in ballet, bootcamp, and yoga classes. An avid reader, she enjoys curling up with an Agatha Christie novel and her two cats.
